In our regionally oriented association, which has been specializing in the area of the former upper offices of Blaubeuren, Geislingen, Göppingen, Heidenheim and Ulm for 25 years, the local knowledge of historical contexts and the knowledge of family relationships in the region, which is obtained from research in Internet often does not exist.

The former Oberamt Gmünd was added in 2019.

Cooperation with science is considered to be trend-setting for our association. In the area of historical demography, several scientific papers have been created in recent years which used the local family databases (mappings) created by our association as a basis.

As a member of the DAGV e.V. German Association of Genealogical Associations e.V. we also maintain contacts with other genealogical national and international associations.
We keep particularly close contact with our neighboring clubs.

That is why we can also help our members and guests across the region.
